Why Elixier Diagnostics exists
Care should feel joined-up, personal and reassuring. Elixier Diagnostics was created in response to a growing need of people in and around Preston for faster, more accessible diagnostic services in the community. We understand how stressful it can be to wait for answers, especially when symptoms are worrying or when treatment decisions depend on timely imaging and clarity in reporting.
Founded by a Consultant Radiologist and a research scientist, the centre is designed around the patient experience we believed everyone deserves. Our aim is to make diagnostic care feel more joined-up, personal and reassuring — from the first enquiry through to results and follow-up.

Contact us by phone or online. We will confirm your appointment, explain what to expect and let you know if there is anything you need to prepare. Most appointments are available within the same week.

Your report is reviewed by a Consultant Radiologist. Results are communicated to you and your clinician within agreed timescales — and for urgent findings, the same day.

You do not always need a GP referral to book with us. If you have a clinical concern and want answers quickly, contact us and we will confirm whether a self-referral is appropriate for your examination.
