About Elixier Diagnostics
Preston's specialist private diagnostic centre — founded by clinicians, built for patients.
Our Story
Elixier Diagnostics began with a shared idea: diagnostic care should offer more than a test or a scan. It should give people clarity, confidence and a clear understanding of what happens next.
That idea first took shape fifteen years ago in a hospital in Delhi, where a radiologist and a research scientist met while working together on complex clinical cases. Their discussions often went beyond the immediate question in front of them and turned to how diagnostic care could be made more connected, more thoughtful and easier for patients to navigate.
Over time, those professional conversations became a shared vision. They wanted to create a centre where clinical expertise, advanced technology and strong professional standards worked alongside clear communication and genuine compassion for the person behind every scan, test or result.
Their partnership grew, both personally and professionally, but the ambition remained the same: to build a diagnostic service designed around the patient experience.
In 2026, that vision became Elixier Diagnostics in Preston — a place created to help people access diagnostic care with greater clarity, confidence and a clearer understanding of what comes next.
The people behind it
Dr Manish Gupta
Co-Founder and Radiologist
FRCR, GMC registered. Consultant Radiologist at NHS Hospital, with subspecialty interests in paediatric, breast, trauma/acute care, oncology, postmortem CT and teleradiology.
Dr Jyoti Arora Gupta
Co-Founder and Scientist
Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics. Currently working with research delivery at NHS community trust and continuously supporting team processes to enhance participants experience and involvement.

We offer flexible private appointments, including selected extended and weekend availability, making it easier to access care around work and family commitments.

Imaging, preventive health checks, blood tests and private GP consultations are available at our centre in Fulwood, helping make different parts of your care easier to coordinate.

Fully governed clinical care
Elixier operates within defined clinical governance, safety and regulatory frameworks, including IR(ME)R requirements for ionising radiation services, safeguarding, incident management and audit.
