Elixier Diagnostics is committed to making this website accessible in line with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, where reasonably practicable.

Compliance status: This website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA due to the issues listed below.

Elixier Diagnostics is not a public sector body. While the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations may not apply, we use them as best practice.

6. Non-accessible content

6.1 Non-compliance with accessibility good practice

  • Some images and icons may not yet have descriptive alternative text
  • Some link text may not be fully descriptive when read out of context
  • Some form fields may not be correctly associated with labels
  • Colour contrast may be insufficient in certain combinations
  • Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers

We plan to address high-priority issues and publish an updated statement by 30 September 2026.

6.2 Disproportionate burden

We do not currently claim that any accessibility improvements represent a disproportionate burden. Alternative formats will be provided on request where needed.

6.3 Content not within scope

Some third-party content is not fully within our control. We choose accessible providers where reasonably possible.

7. What we’re doing to improve accessibility

  • Reviewing templates and components against WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Improving headings, link text and form labels
  • Adding meaningful alternative text to images
  • Checking and improving colour contrast
  • Including accessibility checks in future development
  • Providing guidance to staff who edit website content

  • Automated testing on key pages
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation testing

We plan to commission an external accessibility audit when major changes are made or at least every two years.

9. Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared and last reviewed on 28 January 2026. It will be reviewed at least annually.

10. How this fits with GDPR

While accessibility statements are not a direct UK GDPR requirement, accessibility supports transparency and fairness by ensuring all users can access information about how we process personal data and exercise their rights.
